Across community pharmacies, hospitals, and large pharmaceutical service providers, we saw automation advancing — but only in certain areas. Most systems focused on moving boxes or bottles of oral solid medications, relying on relatively simple mechanical solutions.
In our world, the preparation of parenteral medications, progress had been far more limited. Yes, some semi-automated solutions existed, and a few large compounding robots had been introduced. Yet none reached the scale, reliability, or usability needed to transform the market. As a result, countless compounding pharmacies were still preparing infusion bags, elastomeric pumps, and syringes by hand, day after day.
The result is The Compounder: an automated compounding robot that combines high performance with seamless implementation and freedom of choice in disposables. It is designed to finally bridge the gap between clinical need and technological capability — and to set a new standard for automated compounding. This is why we do what we do. Because compounding deserves better.
