Cytostatics compounding

Chemotherapy involves hazardous drugs that require strict handling procedures to protect patients, pharmacy staff and nurses. Closed System Transfer Devices (CSTDs) reduce exposure risks, prevent contamination, and maintain drug integrity from preparation to administration and some of them offer advantages when using automation. The Compounder can work with both Luer-Lock and CSTD connectors.

Facility:  Hospital pharmacy, compounding center or community pharmacy

Endcontainers: Mainly infusion bags

Automation: Compounder 10. CSTDs or Luer-Lock connectors.

ROI: < 1 year at 25.000 products/year, < 3 years at 10.000 products/per year

Infusion therapy at home
